“Like a Prayer” is a top 40 hit yet again in the United Kingdom. The tune returns to the region, which often defines when a charting song becomes a proper hit, on the Official Singles Downloads list. On that tally, Madonna’s blockbuster pushes nearly 20 spaces, ascending from No. 58 to No. 39.
The same tune nearly re-enters the top 40 on another, related list as well. “Like a Prayer” improves from No. 62 to No. 44 on the Official Singles Sales chart this week.
