Vogue has published an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Madonna’s custom look for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show.
Created by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent in collaboration with Swarovski, the performance outfit was inspired by paparazzi photos of Madonna’s workout looks from the 1990s and early 2000s. The ensemble featured a sheer pink lace corset, silk bloomers, oversized football socks, and custom goalkeeper gloves embellished with Swarovski crystals.
Vogue also reveals that Madonna made her entrance in an open-top car driven onto the pitch by Brazilian football legends Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, before opening her halftime set with “Music” and following it with “Bring Your Love.” The feature highlights the collaboration between Saint Laurent and Swarovski, blending couture craftsmanship with football-inspired design for one of the evening’s most talked-about looks.
