Madonna fans in London will have the opportunity to experience Confessions II – The Film and Madonna: The Confessions Tour on the big screen during a special outdoor event at Cinema in the Square, hosted by The Arzner.
Taking place on Saturday, August 22 at 8:30 PM in Bermondsey Square, the evening will begin with a screening of Confessions II – The Film, followed by Madonna: The Confessions Tour, with a 15-minute interval midway through the concert film. Organizers are encouraging fans to sing and dance along during the screening.
Filmed at London’s Wembley Arena during Madonna’s record-breaking Confessions Tour, the concert film captures performances from the highest-grossing tour of 2006 and features hits spanning her career, with a strong focus on songs from the acclaimed Confessions on a Dance Floor album.
The screening forms part of Cinema in the Square, The Arzner’s annual outdoor queer cinema season, which features 28 queer and queer-adjacent films across the final three weekends of August. Seating is unallocated, and all ticket holders will receive wireless headphones for the event.
