Madonna performed the second and final show in Amsterdam during the Rebel Heart Tour on December 6, 2015. Madonna mentioned having dated a Dutch guy, without mentioning names and addressed the crowd about hurrying up with the show so that everyone was able to take their trains on time. Madonna was being sarcastic of course. She wanted to address the challenging reviews from the Dutch press on the previous night and she did.
There was no 80s medley and no mention of being in Amsterdam on her Instagram at all, which was quite uncommon at the time. Madonna had specifically requested for a man to be the night’s Unapologetic Bitch and someone near the front was chosen during “Candy Shop.” He was given instructions during the following songs and then stepped onto the stage to dance and receive his banana.
