MADONNA’s long-time collaborator Stuart Price has revealed the secrets behind the makings of Confessions II – and it says a lot about the Queen of Pop.
I was lucky enough to be invited down to a top secret playback of the record in London this week and I can confirm this album is a dance banger, which should be played from start to finish, over and over again.
And I think Madge will still be recovering from the recording experience, with Stuart admitting they worked through the night creating each track, never finishing earlier than 3am.
With Stuart’s help, Madonna has mixed thunderous beats, a taste of techno and some deep lyrics which he describes as showing “vulnerability and an insight into her mind and into her experiences.”
Speaking about the record, out July 3, Stuart explained: “The through line on this record is absolutely just the telling of life.”
Kicking off with the already released I Feel Free, the record goes straight into previously unheard Good For The Soul, a song I could dance to on repeat.
