Dutch music magazine OOR has given Confessions II a glowing review, calling it an “intensely enjoyable dance album” and one of those rare late-career records that stands alongside an artist’s very best work.

The review praises Madonna for sounding completely revitalized, effortlessly moving through deep house, acid, Latin and reggaeton while balancing euphoric club tracks with emotional, personal moments. According to OOR, Confessions II feels both like a celebration of the dancefloor and a fitting reflection on Madonna’s extraordinary career. Their only criticism? At just over an hour, they feel the album runs about 15 minutes too long.
