This time the dealers had a lot of Madonna merchandise to offer at worlds’ largest record fair in Utrecht today. Buddy’s Music (fab dealer from the UK) brought an entire Madonna collection including the original Erotica picture disc, various promo videos, presskits, Blond Ambition Tour itinerary and much more!
There was a ton of vinyl and we even spotted the mega rare Spanish Ardiendo (not the bootleg version) 12″ for only 60 EUR (but then again the sleeve was in a very bad state). Thankfully good old genuine official vinyl was available besides the ever growing bootleg market (this is getting so frustrating).
Unfortunately a well known French dealer that is known for selling overpriced Madonna items, had been buying the greatest Madonna items for a relatively good price only to add a lot more EUR to it and offer it for sale through their stall. Many dealers told us so, unfortunately this does take away the pleasure of finding that Madonna goodie for a good price for us regulars. It is because of people like this that you will pay top price for your Madonna item. Use your brain and don’t pay top price for your item, always try and find it elsewhere for a reasonable price.

- Causing A Commotion and Angel – original 12″ mint vinyl pressings from Guatemala (they also had a variety of other pressings)
- I’m Breathless – Italian LP (sealed)
- MADONNA – original CD from Switzerland
- The Virgin Tour – unofficial blu-ray (this dealer sold other Madonna shows on blu-ray too) with MTV unedited reel for Live Aid ’85 as a bonus
The fair was fantastic, let’s hope that in April dealers will be selling to real fans instead of profiteers
