At some point in 2026, Madonna is expected to release a new album. The singer’s fifteenth full-length is reportedly a sequel to the Grammy-winning Confessions on a Dance Floor, which recently turned 20.
The superstar hasn’t given too much away regarding her upcoming chapter, although producer Stuart Price, who worked on the first iteration, is apparently back in the studio with the icon.
There’s no word yet on exactly when the potentially-titled Confessions 2 will arrive, or when Madonna will dole out a single. As fans continue to wait, the superstar has shared one piece of new music that is completely disconnected from her forthcoming era.
“La Bambola” Debuts on Multiple Sales Charts
Madonna lands a new bestseller in the United Kingdom this week as “La Bambola” launches on two tallies. The track opens at No. 24 on the Official Singles Downloads chart and a few spaces lower, at No. 29, on the Official Singles Sales list. The former list looks only at the top-selling cuts on platforms like iTunes, while the Official Singles Sales roster also includes purchases of individual tracks on CD, cassette, and vinyl.
