NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Madonna has officially kicked off her Madame X Tour with a series of performances at BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn.
The tour, which features Madonna taking a break from the arenas and stadiums she usually performs in, to instead, provide more intimate performances for her fans, will continue at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House until Mid-October when she heads to Chicago Theatre.
Other venues to be featured on the tour include The Wiltern in Los Angeles; the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco; the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; The Boch Center at Wang Theatre in Boston; The Met Philadelphia in Philly; and will finally close out its North American leg at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami.
Then, early next year, Madge heads across the pond for more shows in London, Paris, and Lisbon.
The tour features Madonna, in her noirish Madame X persona, along with the all-female Orquestra Batukadeiras
The Madame X Tour is created and directed by a team led by Madonna, including Jamie King as Creative Producer and Megan Lawson as Co-Director and Lead Choreographer. Additional creative contribution and choreography by Damien Jalet, Costume Design by Eyob Yohannes and Set Design by Ric Lipson for Stufish Entertainment Architects.
