I went there in the morning around 11 AM. Checked out the space and saw them setting up and realized nobody was really waiting in line for her. Then I figured I would go back around 2 PM which is what I did.
We waited and waited, knew a lot of people there also people that I knew through social media that I have not met in person. It was very lovely and incredible to see that people travel from Brussels and Brazil for this and the talk tonight at the Beacon. It was 90° and I hate the sun. I am not an in the sun type of a person, but the breeze was good and the energy really kept you going. I did not move my spot.
I thought I had a pretty good one considering it was basically a giant pit. People were very respectful for the most part. I kept saying to myself this is as good as it’s going to get. her imagery all over Times Square. Probably one of the most iconic thing she’s ever done.
Especially to hear love sensation not only for the first time but her singing it live to you. I got chills.
I took a lot of videos. I’m one of the people that really enjoys it even a lot more afterwards when i’m having a bad day and I go through videos of her that especially I took and it just lifts my day and brings me so much joy.
I got really nervous when she was hanging off the balcony she’s so little and that balcony wasn’t that high. It was quite scary to see actually.
