One of the earliest (if not THE earliest) promo advert for Madonna’s debut album simply titled “MADONNA” was published in Dutch OOR Magazine (August 27, 1983). Full advert translated below:
‘lady’ madonna debuts with a record full of electro-disco. Of the eight strong songs, she wrote five herself, the rest are by producer Reggie Lucas.
‘Madonna’ was collaborated on by Gwen Guthrie, Norma Jean and John ‘Jellybean’ Benitez.
