A rare concert poster advertising Madonna’s January 26, 1983 performance at New York’s Red Parrot nightclub has sold at auction for over $3,000 on eBay.

The poster, discovered in a long-abandoned storage unit, drew strong interest from collectors.

The Red Parrot show marked an important moment in Madonna’s early career, taking place just months before the release of her self-titled debut album. Memorabilia from this period is exceedingly scarce, making the poster a highly prized collector’s item.

A replica version of the same poster was sold a few years ago by Concerto in Amsterdam. Both have been added to The First Album page.
