In 1974, at just 16 years old, Madonna was a student at Adams High School in Rochester, Michigan. Fellow student Wyn Cooper asked if she’d participate in his film class assignment. She agreed, and according to Cooper, she was “open to anything.”
The short film, shot on Super 8, featured Madonna pretending to eat a raw egg. In the same scene, she lay down in a bikini as another student cracked an egg onto her stomach and ate it.
Cooper described her as both withdrawn and social — two contrasting sides he found intriguing. He referred to the film simply as The Egg Film.
