All royalties made from streaming Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ will be donated to BeLonG To Youth Services for the month of Pride.

Warner Music Ireland have announced that for the month of Pride, they will be handing all royalties produced from Madonna‘s ‘Vogue’ over to BeLonG To Youth Services – an Irish LGBTQ+ organisation.

The music label use #StrikeaPride, a play on the lyrics in ‘Vogue’ (“strike a pose”), to mark the occasion on their social media platforms.

 

‘Vogue’, which was released in 1990 on Madonna’s I’m Breathless, has long since been hailed as a gay anthem by members of the LGBTQ+ community. The track will no doubt garner thousands of streams throughout Pride month, both in Ireland and internationally.
