On this day in Birmingham 10 years ago Madonna performed her MDNA Tour in a spectacular fashion.
Madonna’s motel room during “Gang Bang” was nowhere to be seen and Madonna had to improvise the entire performance. Madonna of course pulled this off brilliantly. Instead of fighting with the villain on the bed, she was fighting him on the floor. If you hadn’t seen the show elsewhere, you’d never guess there was an entire set missing.
Even more technical difficulties during Justify My Love as the screens never closed and the preparations for Vogue were out in the open. Then for I’m Addicted she didn’t rise from the front of the catwalk on time, so the audience heard her but she was absent for a while.
