Sadly Christian Audigier has passed away after battling cancer. M has been wearing his clothes for years. RIP.
Hacking and leaking Madonna’s unreleased recordings online does not pay, as Adi Lederman learned upon receiving a 14-month jail sentence from the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court on Thursday as part of a plea-bargain deal following his conviction for cyber crimes against the pop singer.
The full wrath of Israeli and US authorities, including the FBI, came down on Lederman for charges of computer trespassing, fraud, and intellectual property offenses against the superstar, who has come to Israel on several tours and is a known follower of Kabbala.
Last December, a series of demos from Madonna’s album-in-progress, Rebel Heart, were leaked online. Following the breach, which originated in files belonging to people working with the singer, Madonna released six tracks and moved up the release date of the full album to March.
“I have been violated as a human and an artist!” Madonna wrote on Instagram following the hack.
Lederman was fined NIS 15,000 by the court, which said its sentence should “send a message of deterrence” and uncompromising commitment to the law to others like Lederman.
The sentence was more lenient than it might have been, in light of the fact that Lederman suffers from some medical issues, as well out of concern that a full trial could lead to unintentional further exposure of Madonna’s personal details and those of people working with her.
The now-convicted hacker was arrested in late January, and was previously best known for auditioning on air in 2012 for the Israeli TV show Kochav Nolad (“A Star is Born”), Israel’s version of American Idol.

THE good news is that if you want to see Madonna on her first Australian tour in 23 years you can still get tickets.
The bad news is that unless you’re willing to ride solo you’re going to have to pay top dollar for good seats. Or travel to Brisbane, the only place $100 tickets are left (you’ll also have to go alone though).
It seems local Madonna fans are in standby mode waiting to see if the superstar will add more shows to her Rebel Heart Australian tour next March before they snap up the remaining seats.
Promoter Live Nation have yet to announce whether Madonna will include more shows in her itinerary, although with gigs on Saturdays and Sundays only so far she does have free time in her schedule.
All the $2000 front row tickets for her Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows sold out instantly, as did all the cheap seats priced at around $100.

There’s heavy rain in Amsterdam today, typically three years ago today we had the exact same weather. Fans queuing outside in the rain for hours, while one day prior it was very sunny. Typical Amsterdam weather.
When you think of the What It Feels Like For A Girl video, you instantly remember the Pussy Cat license plates. Back in 2001 YORIN (A Dutch TV/radio channel) recorded a promotional commercial for a contest to win tickets to see M during the Drowned World Tour in Paris. For this they re-created the video and the commercial aired various times on Dutch television (see video below).
The props; license plates, full script and original pictures were later sent to me (Kimberly).

Madonna can do something that none of her contemporaries are able to anymore: fill up large sized venues at high prices. Due to large ticket demand for her Rebel Heart Tour, Madonna added dates to such cities in North America as Miami, New York City, Toronto, and Puerto Rico. In Europe, Madonna added dates in Prague, Barcelona, London, and others.
In New Zealand, the demand for tickets was just as high. According to the New Zealand Herald, only high-price tickets remain for Madonna’s shows there, despite just going on sale yesterday.
It is quite likely that due to the demand for tickets, Madonna will add shows in both New Zealand and Australia. Madonna has been teasing the setlist for her Rebel Heart Tour on Instagram by mentioning such classics as “Justify My Love,” Into the Groove,” “Who’s That Girl,” “True Blue,” and “Like a Virgin.” Do you have tickets for Madonna’s upcoming Rebel Heart Tour?

Kiwi Madonna fans are paying thousands of dollars to make sure they don’t miss out on the first, and possibly only, time the Material Girl plays New Zealand.
A frenzy is expected at 10am tomorrow when general-sale tickets, including $2000 front-row seats, are released to eager fans, 33 years since Madonna’s debut single Everybody hit the charts.
Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour is set for two Auckland shows in March next year though demand could see more dates added, with almost a week between the second stop at Vector Arena on March 6 and the 56-year-old’s next tour date in Melbourne on March 12.
Already, dedicated fans have snapped up a small batch of vogue, pre-sale tickets before tomorrow’s official release – with Auckland super-fan Chris Watts dropping $2600 on premium tickets to both nights.
Watts, 45, who has set up the Facebook fan page “Madonna New Zealand”, has travelled to gigs in Melbourne and New York. He attended shows three nights in a row at Madison Square Garden.
“I’m a member of the Madonna fan club so I purchased VIP tickets Tuesday last week,” Watts told the Herald on Sunday.
“One night I’m next to the runway and the other I’m next to the little heart stage at the end of the runway. They were a pretty expensive purchase but I’ve been a fan for 30 years.”
In the nine-month countdown to the shows Watts says a fashion designer friend would help piece together “Madonna-inspired” ensembles for the evenings.
Another to guarantee a golden ticket is Hamilton’s Taeghan Magnus-Short, 27, who grabbed a $500 pre-sale pass. “I always hoped she would come to New Zealand, but I thought it might never happen.
“She’s underrated as a musician, but she’s also a great role model for individuality and strength. She loves to light a fire under people. I’m sure she’ll do something crazy on the night.”

I owe you an apology.
For several weeks I’ve been thinking of writing you an open letter and, until the moment I wrote it, I was going to ask you to change.
Your wardrobe, videos and words linked to the latest “Rebel Heart” tour have attracted negative criticism, and I almost joined the majority.
I was going to confess that I grew up on your music. From wearing lace gloves when I was 5 years old to recently listening to your songs while dancing with friends, your voice has been well represented on the soundtrack of my life.
But as I grew up, you seemingly did not.
You’re 22 years older than me. That didn’t seem like such a big deal when I was 5 and you were 27. Then, somehow, I became 34 and you reached 56, and I just wanted to give you a hug and say, “So, maybe you should put the fishnets under a pencil skirt.”
I was wrong.
You’ve made a career out of raising eyebrows with hits “Like a Virgin,” “Papa Don’t Preach,” “Like a Prayer,” “Erotica,” “Justify My Love,” not to mention every relationship you’ve ever had.
Those were all number one songs, by the way.
And fans are paying more this year to see you on the Rebel Heart tour than they did three years ago.
Music reviews in Rolling Stone have called you and your art a “provocative extravaganza.”
You made headlines for several other things too: the kiss with Britney Spears, saying you wanted to go on a date with Drake and falling off stage during the recent Brit Awards. And those are just a few things from the 2000s.
There are plenty of things from the 80s and 90s that prove you were waging a war against racism, sexism, hate crimes and bigotry long before the listeners were brave enough to loudly stand up with you.
You have a history of proving if anyone in the room is going to be uncomfortable, it’s not going to be you.
And I love that about you.
I still believe a little discretion goes a long way, but I love that someone like you is out there.
I love that you’re 56, and still bold and unafraid to show up at the Grammys with more cleavage than women 30 years younger than you.
It seems to me your latest war is against sexism and ageism – and rightfully so.
Nobody makes a big deal of it when 56-year-old male rock stars date 20-year-old women. It’s not just accepted, it’s expected.
But you’re a 56-year-old woman in America. That means you can’t date someone as young as Drake, who is 28.
Nobody writes about how 71-year-old Rolling Stones stars Keith Richards and Mick Jagger are still wearing tight leather pants – and, really, who is going to tell them no?
But you’re a 56-year-old woman in America. That means how you look and what you wear will always be under heavy scrutiny.
It means because you are a mother of four, you cannot be sexual.
It means it doesn’t matter if you built 10 schools in Malawi.
It means Piers Morgan can say, “Falling off the stage, Madonna, is God’s way of telling you you’re too old to cavort like a hooker.”
(But I wouldn’t worry about Mr. Morgan. He survived less air time on CNN than Dog the Bounty Hunter.)
It means middle-aged men and suburban moms get to judge you and say, “Put it away. Your age is showing.”
And I love that you keep saying “No.”
You will not be silenced. This is not a stunt. This is who you are. This is who you’ve always been.
You are the woman who made a mockery of the wedding dress, made the cone bra famous and taught us to vogue. Of course you’re wearing fishnets and thongs in public when you’re 56.
I won’t be doing it, but I’m glad you are.
So to amend my previous error in judgment, let me offer my sincerest apology for trying to make you fit into a severely outdated perception.
Don’t put it away now, Madonna. Your awesome is showing.

Universal Music NL confirms to us that they will not be sending Bitch I’m Madonna to Dutch radio.
Devil Pray will not be sent to Dutch radio as well, however when Madonna comes to Holland in December for the shows they still might send a track to Dutch radio for promo.
Yes it’s been ten years since Madonna wowed the crowd in Hyde Park for Live8 on July 2, 2005 in London. Madonna performed an amazing set with one of the longest encores ever (Music). A legendary performance to this day…..read all about the live experience in our Live Reports section by Kimberly.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) – Yes, you read that right – the Material Girl will turn Manila into a material world early next year.
A source told CNN Philippines Digital early Thursday (July 2) that promoters of Madonna’s highly-anticipated ‘Rebel Heart Tour’ have included Manila in the concert’s Australia and Asia legs. The one and only pop goddess, known for the hits such as “Like a Virgin” and “Material Girl,” will perform for two successive nights in her #MadonnaInManila concert set February 2016 at the 12,000-seater Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay City.
The Manila leg is not yet officially included in the #RebelHeartTour website pending a formal announcement of the Madonna in Manila 2016 Concert details this month.
The 56-year-old pop icon will kick off her tour this September in Canada and continues throughout North America and UK/Europe.
Along with extraordinary critical acclaim as an artist, songwriter, and producer who has sold a record-breaking 300 million records, Madonna’s reputation as one of the most successful, provocative, and enduring live performers of all time speaks for itself.
In 2006, her ‘Confessions’ tour was named the highest-grossing tour in history by a female artist, a record she went on to beat again in 2009 with her ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour.
Madonna has sold more than 300 million records worldwide and is recognized as the best-selling female recording artist of all-time by Guinness World Records.
She is the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century and the second best-selling female artist in the United States, with 64.5 million certified albums. Billboard ranked her at number two, behind only The Beatles, on the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists, making her the most successful solo artist in the history of American singles chart.
Universal Music France confirms to us that both Devil Pray and Bitch I’m Madonna have been sent to French radio for airplay.
Devil Pray is intended for the older audience while Bitch I’m Madonna is directed at the younger generation, this way they hope to raise interest at both markets. They hope that M can find the time somewhere in her busy schedule to record a video for Devil Pray, however since she’s in the middle of tour rehearsals, this is highly unlikely.
Unfortunately no news on a physical cd single release in France. Universal Music France however confirms that the two French promo cd’s for Devil Pray and Bitch I’m Madonna are genuine.
