MADONNA It’s good to be sore in your butt. My neck is sore from that wonderful moment when I was sucking on your heel.

ON PROVOCATIVE SHOWMANSHIP:
M I would always say, Dad, I’m an artist, I have to express myself. You don’t understand. I think he’s finally come to terms with it. It’s only taken 30 years. He’s like, Do you have to simulate masturbation on the bed? Do you have to? Yes, Dad, I do.
KP I haven’t gone that far yet, but maybe under your great mentorship I might reach that point.

ON GETTING READY FOR A TOUR:
M A couple of weeks before my production rehearsals I look and feel like a truck ran me over.

Madonna and Katy Perry Pose Provocatively in Leather Outfits for V Magazine: Sexy pictures

It’s a Material Girl match made in heaven! V Magazine exclusively reveals its Summer 2014 issue to Us Weekly, featuring cover girls Madonna and Katy Perry. “Birthday” singer Perry previewed the new spread via Instagram on Monday, May 19. “Mmmmm my baby’s got a secret,” she wrote, alongside a pic of herself crawling on a floor and reaching for a mysterious figure’s stiletto.

On the racy cover, Perry, 29, straddles Madonna — seated with her legs spread open — from behind. The pop singers are both clad in skimpy leather outfits as they pose provocatively for photographer Steven Klein. According to Madonna, 55, wild images like these are for the sake of art!
“I would always say, ‘Dad, I’m an artist, I have to express myself. You don’t understand,” Madonna reasoned to V Mag. “I think he’s finally come to terms with it. It’s only taken 30 years,” the “Like a Virgin” singer mused. “He’s like, ‘Do you have to simulate masturbation on the bed? Do you have to?’ Yes, Dad, I do.”

Perry, the daughter of Pentecostal pastor parents, said she has yet to pull a Miley Cyrus, referring to the Bangerz hitmaker’s (ahem, intimate) “Adore” music video. “I haven’t gone that far yet,” Perry told V mag, while adding to Madonna, “but maybe under your great mentorship I might reach that point.”

The stars are equally sexy in the magazine’s accompanying spread, which was styled by Arianne Phillips. In a separate exclusive preview pic from the shoot, Perry wears a corseted bodycon dress and sultry black leggings. The “Dark Horse” singer holds a rope binding Madonna’s hands, while the queen of pop is splayed across a leather couch.

“I was sore in my upper body and in my butt area from all that squatting,” Perry said of her shoot with the pop icon. Madonna quipped, “It’s good to be sore in your butt. My neck is sore from that wonderful moment when I was sucking on your heel.”

Perry, luckily, was open to the personal contact, even with her OCD tendencies (which she revealed to Us in her “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” last fall. “Im so OCD that I want those letters in alphabetical order,” Perry told V Mag. “C-D-O would be my preference.”

Both stars really seemed to enjoy collaborating together on the magazine cover. “I really enjoyed working with you on the photo shoot,” Madonna told Perry. “People always expect when two divas get together that there might be weird vibes or a strange competitiveness, but this was nice and easy and fun.”

California native Perry added, “If you ever come to the show, there’s a little wink to you. I’m paying my dues!”
The Summer 2014 issue of V Magazine hits newsstands on Memorial Day. Tell Us: What do you think of Madonna and Katy’s racy cover?

Madonna’s 13th studio album: What we know…

With her Instagram ablaze with producers, collaborators, teasers, hints and supposed song titles and lyrics, Madonna’s 13th studio is clearly almost ready to drop. Here is the round up of what we know so far…

In the wake of Beyoncé’s triumphant unannounced digital release of her 5th studio self-titled album ‘Beyoncé’ that sent the world wild, it can’t be easy thinking of how to do one better, even if you just happen to be the Queen of Pop.

Well, not that either of these leading ladies need gimmicks to get their fans frothing at the mouth, Madonna has been dropping hint after hint during the last few months, getting the most controlled of us frantically searching the interwebs for news, song titles and the hope of an audio clip or two.

So, what is that we actually know about the upcoming Madonna’s 13th studio album? Well, here ‘s what we’ve found out so far, laid out in lovely bullet point bites of info:

Who is she in the studio with?
Through Instagram we are all very aware that she has been collaborating with a bunch of big names, highly talented individuals and a couple of surprises: In the mix there is EDM producer Avicii, Major Lazer mega hit maker Diplo, Wrecking Ball writer MoZella, England’s dark popstress Natalia Kills, Beyoncé’s ‘If I Were A Boy’ producer songwriter Toby Gad and the producer that has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Usher, Haim and also the aforementioned Major Lazer, Areil Rechtshaid.

Looking at who we have, we can expect some dance songs alla today’s Madonna, some big epic modern pop ballads and maybe even some darker electropop sounds via the influence of Natalia Kills.

Anyone else mentioned?
Two other names have been passed around; Giorgio Moroder and DJ White Shadow have been mentioned amongst the buzz that Madonna’s album is causing. With the success of Daft Punk’s use of established and highly influential electronic producers, could Madonna also investigate what the godfathers of electronic dance music have on offer? But, of course, Madonna loves to work with new, fresh talent. So maybe not.

So, it’s another dance album?
It would seem so, right? But maybe we could be surprised with a different sound. With a couple of tags including the words ‘Rebel Heart’ this might indicate that she’ll hang up her leotard and opt for a more ‘punk’ themed comeback. Also, I am not too sure if she is being ironic but her most used tag appears to be misspelled, no? #unaplogeticbitch ain’t saying sorry for nothing. We must remember that through all this, Madonna is also working on Art For Freedom and it would make sense that themes surrounding the project will appear in the songwriting.

What about any lyrics?
In a post made by famous photographer Mert Atlas, in which he claims to be listening to the album, he writes the words ‘Let me love you from inside out’. Are these lyrics? Maybe even a song title? We just don’t know. Then, in a post made while working with Diplo, she accompanied an Instagram photo with a hashtag that spells out ‘Clic clac clic clac bitch get off my back’. Could the Queen of Pop be addressing all the wannabes out there? Certainly sounds like it? Or is she just referring to the fact that Diplo is working her hard?

Any featuring artists?
We’ve already mentioned Natalia Kills and Diplo who, depending in what way they’ve worked with Madonna, could be up for a ‘featuring’ mention on an album track or two. In the last year we’ve seen her perform with Macklemore and Miley, proving that she likes talent that begins with the letter ‘M’, maybe these guys might be appearing on the LP too… We can imagine a Madge and Miley collaboration would go down a storm. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

So that’s what we’ve got so far. When we find out more, we’ll let you know.

Your worst nightmare…

Is Sia writing for Madonna’s next album?

On the May 19 episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Sia uniquely recreated her buzzworthy music video for “Chandelier.”

In DeGeneres’ introduction of the performance, she said that Sia had “written No. 1 hits for artists like Madonna, Rihanna and Beyonce…” That made us pause, considering Madonna has not yet released a tune written by Sia (though the other divas have).

Could that mean Sia might be at work on Madonna’s upcoming album? Maybe DeGeneres inadvertently disclosed some new information? After all, Madonna has been busy sharing Instagram photos of a number of collaborators over the past month or so (like: Diplo, Toby Gad, Natalia Kills, Martin Kierszenbaum, S1, MoZella, Ariel Rechtshaid and Nick Rowe).

Sia’s publicist says that Sia has not written for Madonna, nor is she writing for an upcoming project. Thus, it was a slight error on DeGeneres’ part.

(Still, we’d like to think DeGeneres was perhaps projecting her desire for a possible Madonna/Sia collaboration.)

There is no word on when Madonna’s next album might be released, but, Sia’s new set, “1000 Forms of Fear,” is due out on July 8. “Chandelier” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 a week ago (chart dated May 31) at No. 75. It’s bubbling under the threshold of the Pop Songs airplay chart.

Katy Perry And Madonna Bring Dominatrix Chic To The Cover Of ‘V’ Magazine’s Summer Issue

This is major. Katy Perry and Madonna have joined forces for the cover of V magazine’s summer issue. (You just know Lady Gaga is locked in a dark room screaming “it shoulda been me!”)

Not that Madonna is going anywhere. The buzz surrounding her new album has grown exponentially thanks to clever social media manipulation (she’s working on mouth-watering collaborations with Avicii, Diplo and Natalia Kills) and attention-grabbing nude photo shoots. Make no mistake. The 55-year-old is pulling out all stops for this era and aligning herself Katy certainly can’t hurt. See their pics after the jump.
