“Ozark” has a fan in Madonna.
This week, Laura Linney appeared on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” and is asked about Madonna spoiling a detail about her “Ozark” character before the new season premiered.
“You know, unfortunately it’s the world we’re in,” the actress said, adding, “You know, I’m just, I’m happy she watches it. How nice.”
Madonna is ready to pucker up again.
The Queen of Pop wants to go on tour with Britney Spears and redo their infamous kiss from the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
“Hell yeah!” Madonna, 63, said on Instagram Live Tuesday after a fan asked whether she plans to do another world tour one day. “Stadium, baby! Me and Britney, what about that?”

On this day in 1989 Pepsi announced they had signed a $5 million deal with Madonna. She would be starring in a series of TV commercials and Pepsi would sponsor her upcoming “Like a Prayer World Tour.”
WEA Records in Holland sent out a three-page press release announcing the deal and upcoming news related to the new album “Like a Prayer.” A massive campaign followed in the month of February and various adverts were published in magazines and newspapers. There was even a promotional press pack including a poster and empty CD case announcing the campaign for retailers.

Madonna performed her Sticky & Sweet Tour in Amsterdam on September 2, 2008. It was definetely the best show so far, Madonna gave it her all tonight. She spoke to the crowd a lot and joked around. During the ‘request’ section she asked the audience to sing her Happy Birthday and was surprised when they did….in Dutch! She didn’t understand a word of it, but it amused her still.
She told the crowd in Amsterdam they were the best so far on this tour and taking them on the road meant having no need for back-up singers anymore. The audience was on their feet steadily from “La Isla Bonita” until the very end. “Give It 2 Me” had just spent six weeks at the top spot in the official Dutch Top 40 charts, so it was a huge hit with the audience. Right opposite of the ArenA the Heineken Music Hall was transformed into Club Candy and organized by our beloved FAME Megastore in Amsterdam. Fans that still wanted to party found the right place to be as the incredible Ben Liebrand was spinning the greatest remixes.

Madonna definitely thought of herself as a movie star. She looked like a movie star. She dated movie stars, and her first husband was a movie star. For a hot minute in the late ’80s, Madonna had enough juice to get a movie greenlit. But Madonna never truly became a movie star herself. Her acting career never quite became anything other than a part-time hobby.
It’s time for something new. That is why the Mega Record & CD Fair is moving to the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (or also known as Den Bosch), located half an hour from Utrecht. From April 2022, the capital of North Brabant will be home to vinyl collectors and music lovers from all over the world. New holy ground where we will enjoy music, vinyl and each other twice a year!
Check out this piece of history! This rare in house cassette tape with handwritten tracklisting includes remixes for “Like a Prayer” by Bill Bottrell and Shep Pettibone.
The cassette is stamped as received on February 16, 1989 by Warner Bros Records. I can only say that the sound quality is outstanding and the bass is out of this world!

Debi Mazar, 57, is definitely excited about the possibility of a Madonna biopic! The actress admitted that she thought it was funny to learn that Uncut Gems star (and Kanye West‘s new girlfriend) Julia Fox, 31, was in talks to play her in the movie in a Wednesday January 19 Instagram post. Even though Debi couldn’t confirm whether or not Julia had been cast, she did say that she was “flattered” that she could have such a talent portray her.

There were no two bigger pop stars in the world in 1989 than Prince and Madonna. The Purple One was at a strange point in his career, stuck between the world-conquering pop of his initial style and the harder-edged R&B funk that he would adopt in the ’90s. But Prince was still scoring number one hits, even if it was ‘Batdance’ from the Batman soundtrack.
The second date of the Sticky & Sweet Tour we attended was the show in Berlin. Once again not a lot of people were queuing up and it was fairly easy to get a good spot for entrance. People holding Hot Tickets gained early entry. The crowd was very relaxed, there was no pushing and one could easily go and do their business on one of the Dixi toilets on the floor of the stadium.
Madonna got on stage at 9.15pm and performed a spectacular show. She wore a pink colored outfit for the second section and dedicated “You Must Love Me” to Seymour Stein, who was in the audience. This show was miles away from the one that premiered in Cardiff, she was much more at ease and seemed to be enjoying herself. From what I could see the Berlin crowd seemed to be having a great time during the show.

Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour premiered in Cardiff on August 23, 2008. Only two years after The Confessions Tour Madonna was back on the road to take on what was probably the most physically demanding show of her carreer.
Surprisingly there weren’t a lot of people queuing up days prior to the event as we’d expected. We were treated to the full soundcheck the night before, which was obviously a huge spoiler but we couldn’t resist staying outside the stadium to listen. It was obvious then that a lot of classics had been re-invented once again. The biggest treat was listening to “You Must Love Me” and the new version of “Like a Prayer”.
On the premiere date when the Hot Ticket holders were finally let in, we were first being kept in the hallway before we were allowed to enter and find a good spot near the stage. Honestly when Madonna treated us to exactly the same entrance as performed on her Hard Candy promo shows, I was disappointed. By the end of the show we all had mixed feelings as this show was such a departure from the theatrical shows she’s known for. However, she must have done something right as it became her highest grossing tour to date.

After Madonna shared an Instagram post earlier this week indicating that she “went to dinner with Julia [Fox] to talk about my movie,” EW has learned the 31-year-old performer is being considered to play the role of actress Debi Mazar, the singer’s longtime friend. Kanye West, Antonio Brown, and Floyd Mayweather were also pictured in the photos Madonna shared of her meeting with Fox.
We just learned that Jamie Auld who portrayed Madonna in the excellent film Madonna and the Breakfast Club by Guy Guido has sadly passed away.
To say we are shocked is an understatement. May she rest in peace.
