  • Madonna only played stadiums in Europe instead of small arena’s, she played Wembley Stadium and Stade de France
  • Madonna asked the crowd each night during her request section which song to sing. In Europe there were mainly 2 songs performed/chosen: Like a Virgin and Express Yourself, the US received a different song each night
  • During the Sticky & Sweet Tour Madonna and Guy Ritchie officially announced they were to split
  • Seymour Stein (who first signed Madonna) attended Madonna’s show in Berlin, she dedicated You Must Love Me to him
  • Madonna wore a hairpiece during the last segment of her show, so that she suddenly had a fringe
  • Madonna performed a stunning mix of Like a Prayer with Felixx’ Don’t You Want Me, an incredible mash-up
  • During She’s Not Me Madonna threw her heart shaped sunglasses into the audience
  • Robyn was among the support acts and could be seen at most of the European gigs, Paul Oakenfold played his set in London and Bob Sinclar did so in Paris
  • In New York Pharrell performed with Madonna on stage during Beat Goes On and Give it 2 Me
  • Some guest performances could be seen during the show on the screens, Britney (Human Nature), Pharrell + Kanye West (Beat Goes On)
  • In London a speaker was blown up causing the audience in the back of the stadium to not hear a thing
  • Because Madonna started late in London, around 25000 people were left stranded after the show as public transport had shut down
  • During the tour a HOT ticket was sold that guaranteed you access to the golden circle, gave you a leather wallet, a laminate and a wristband
  • Amsterdam was the only country to have a unique gift which was a bag with the Sticky & Sweet logo on it
  • In Nice people with a HOT ticket were let in later than people with a regular golden circle ticket, causing them to complain and made M’s management change everything and early access was granted to Hot Ticket holders from then on
  • In Zurich Madonna hadn’t finished her soundcheck when people were let in, M joked saying she should’ve charged them twice
  • The tourbook only contained pictures from a new photoshoot done by Tom Munro
  • The new video to Die Another Day was created during the same photoshoot
  • Vogue was performed live to the music of 4 Minutes as a mash up
  • Madonna preached to the audience about waking up and showed another video with terrible images of what’s going on in the world with heroes and bad asses titled ‘Get Stupid’
  • Madonna was very clear in telling her audiences to vote for Barack Obama, she even went as far as to create a Barack Obama Sticky & Sweet shirt!
  • A few familiar faces among the dancers such as Paul (Re-Invention Tour) and Jason (Re-Invention Tour and Confessions Tour)
