Drake closed out Coachella’s first weekend with a bang, inviting the queen of pop herself onstage with him for his song, “Madonna,” then ceding the microphone to Madonna for her own mini-medley, including bits of her hits “Hung Up” and “Human Nature.”

The two had previously flirted on Instagram but ramped things up a notch with a sloppy wet kiss that Madonna planted on the rapper at the end of her cameo. Oohs and aahs could be heard emanating from the crowd, which had faithfully sung along to much of Drake’s set, especially radio hits like “We Made It,” “All Me” and “Hold On We’re Going Home” in addition to covers by YG (“Who Do You Love”) and Big Sean (“Blessings”).

Drake’s stage set up was minimal, with nary a DJ or band member to be seen. Instead, the Canadian rapper used elaborate video screens to tell stories through song.
